The objective of the fund is to achieve long-term capital appreciation by outperforming the MSCI Emerging Market Total Return Net Index over a rolling three-year period. The portfolio manager aims to take advantage of market inefficiencies or mispricings by investing in companies trading at a significant discount to intrinsic value. In addition the focus is on companies based in emerging markets (or that have significant exposure to emerging markets). This fund is a feeder fund that invests only in the SIM Global Emerging Markets Fund listed in Ireland.
Previously the Sanlam Investment Management Global Emerging Market Feeder Fund.

MSCI Emerging Markets Index (Total Return)
Investors in this portfolio can afford to take on a higher level of risk because of their investment time horizon or appetite for risk. They are willing to invest for the long-term and are prepared to tolerate some volatility in the short term, in anticipation of the higher returns expected in five years or beyond.
